The three views of Hurricane Andrew were taken on August 23, 24 and 25, 1992, as the hurricane moved from East to West. Landfall was first made in southern Florida on August 24th, 1992, at approximately 5:00 Am. Andrew made landfall for a 2nd time in south central Louisiana on August the 26th, 1992. When it was all said and done Hurricane Andrew was by far the most expensive natural disaster in history (up to that date), with estimated damages exceeding $20 billion. More than 60 people were killed and aproximately 2 million people were evacuated from their homes.
